Half of it on black. If you win, mid level blackjack and Pai Gow.
If you lose, you play low limit Pai Gow for awhile.

I had the most fun at Cal Neva and if they still have their dollar breakfast in the back left hand corner go for it. It is set up almost like a hot dog stand atmosphere with just 3 little table but the hash browns and bacon and eggs are to die for. The dealers are frienlier there.
The Eldorado was where I won 3 fifteen hundred dollars at dollar machines in just less than half hour. Look for Ray at the slot machine carousel. He pointed out the next machine after I won the jackpot and the one after that and the 3rd one after that. I gave him a hundred dollar tip each time but it was well worth it. In the end I won forty five hundred dollars with a one hundred start and three hundred in tips you count the math.

The one you feel will give you the most entertainment for your investment of $1,000. The house will get it eventually, sooner or later. Who do you think pays for all the glitter? House odds are NOT in your favor.

I would start off with a mid-range blackjack table. Say $15-25. You can either win a lot or lose a lot very fast, but you should get a feel for how your trip is going to go. I would then play roulette or craps, since you can play longer for less since the games go slower. I don’t really play three card or pai-gow, so I’d just stick to those three games.

You can find $3-$5 blackjack at the Cal Neva ->http://www.renohotelreviews.com/cal-neva...
I would start there and see if you can build up the $1000. The object is to make money, not dwindle the $1000 away. You can progress up to the more expensive tables in any of the casinos. If you like Pai-Gow, I know that the Eldorado has quite a few tables->http://www.renohotelreviews.com/eldorado...
Have fun!
